External Communication Specialist

We are looking for an External Communication Specialist who will help strengthen trust with media, consumers and other key stakeholders, while reinforcing Nestlé’s reputation as a leader in sustainability, nutrition, health & wellness (NHW), and Creating Shared Value (CSV).

Purpose of the Role

In this role, you will contribute to building a strong climate of trust with editors, journalists, employees and the general public. You will help deliver consistent and impactful communication across channels, increase positive media exposure, support crisis communication, and engage employees to act as Nestlé ambassadors sharing a common vision and goals.

The role covers Czech Republic and Slovakia and works closely with local and regional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement the annual external communication plan
• Manage media relations, press releases and media interviews
• Prepare and support spokespersons with key messages and materials
• Ensure consistent messaging across communication channels
• Support internal stakeholders with internal and external communication
• Strengthen Nestlé’s reputation through media, digital and social channels
• Implement Sustainability, Community (CSV) and Employer Branding communication in cooperation with HR
• Support crisis communication and internal corporate communication topics

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in communications (corporate, external, media or agency)
• Experience working with senior leaders and spokespersons
• Background in journalism or a communication agency is an advantage
• Excellent English and Czech or Slovak
• Strong knowledge of media, digital and social communication tools
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
