Position Summary:

 

The Production Supervisor leads and motivates the Production Team to ensure efficient department operations. They enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) to guarantee product quality and output.

 

This on-site role supports the 3rd shift, Sunday-Thursday from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am at our Prescott, AZ factory, directly contributing to operational excellence and compliance.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Motivate and guide 7-9 team members to meet all daily targets including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Objectives, Goals, and Strategies
  • Identifies and supports continuous improvement activities in process efficiencies, costs, and productivity
  • Implement sustainable improvements and procedural changes to enhance department performance
  • Coach and develop colleagues by performing evaluations, and accumulation of events in individual’s coaching diary
  • Use Root Cause Analysis to investigate operation errors and recommends corrective/preventative action where needed for a positive result. 
  • Motivate colleagues in maintain quality and efficiency throughout the department.
  • Ensure that batch record and log books are properly documented and all team members follow all SOPs, cGMPs, safety requirements, and procedures
  • Create a safe and positive work environment for all colleagues 
  • Regular exposure to common food allergens (e.g., milk, fish, and others) as part of normal job duties

 

Requirements:

 

  • 2+ years in a Lead or Supervisory role; factory experience preferred
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior machine operator experience in a factory setting
  • Basic ability to read, write and speak English is required to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies & procedures
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • Knowledge of quality assurance protocols to ensure product safety and quality standards
  • Ability to follow safety procedures
  • Comfortable using basic digital devices (computers, iPads, etc.)
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly, stand, climb, and bend in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work overtime hours as required by business need

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to support and motivate team efforts to meet objectives
  • Ability to mediate minor disputes and maintain a harmonious team environment
  • Proven ability to collaborate across departments, fostering cross-functional engagement to meet goals effectively
