Accountant to Nestlé Professional

We offer

Nestlé Professional Food is looking for a structured and analytical Bookkeeper/Accountant for our factory in Rønnede. Nestlé Professional (NP) Food Nordics is a separate unit within Nestlé, responsible for winning the Out of Home business by offering relevant food solutions. 

As Bookkeeper/Accountant you will be a part of the NP Nordic Finance team, which consists of six professionals, located in Denmark, Sweden, and Finland. 

You will be based at our factory in Rønnede, which is located 60 km south of Copenhagen.

Your future challenges

You will be responsible for all processes around accounts payables, accounts receivables and daily accounting. Due to the need of implementing more controls to meet Nestlé standards, this role involves significant process improvement. This means that you will both execute on day-to-day processes and operations in accounting as well as support daily routines with proposals for continuous improvement.

 

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
•    End-to-end creditor management including accurate and timely payment to suppliers
•    Financial reconciliation of accounts
•    Support period-end tasks and reporting
•    Prepared VAT reports
•    Follow-up and keeping vendor and customers up to date
•    Furthermore, you will be given project tasks within the finance department.

You will report to the Chief accountant and work very closely together with the Assistant Bookkeeper to ensure that process efficiency and accuracy are in place.

You will be working in close collaboration with all the departments, especially procurement department and commercial team. Your primary internal stakeholders are factory and sales & marketing management and Nestlé Financial Services management team, and your primary external stakeholders are governmental and regulatory agencies.

You have thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures and are a solution-driven profile. As a person, you are open and have a communicative personality; you are a team player with a high level of engagement and flexibility.

It is of high importance, that your curiosity, flexibility, and creativity remain intact, that you have the ability to work in a structured manner, have an open mind and a willingness to learn.

Moreover, to succeed in this role, you are:
•    highly analytical, accurate and strong attention to detail
•    result-focused, proactive and take initiative 
•    demonstrate the ability to be adaptable and take initiative 
•    ability to multitask, understand the big picture of work simultaneously
•    ability to work both independently, with little supervision, and within a team environment.
 

Your experiences and qualifications

You have a strong background in accounting and minimum 3 years of experience from a similar role within an FMCG company. Knowledge of the Danish tax legislation, especially VAT as well as of IFRS. Previous work experience with Navision/SAP will be seen as an advantage. 

You have good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office, you are fluent in English, verbal and written, and preferably in Danish, however, this is not a requirement.
