A DAY IN THE LIFE...
- Implementation of Food Safety and Quality Systems:
- Ensure effective implementation of Nestlé Quality System and other national/international quality standards (e.g., FSSC22000, HACCP, Nestlé GMP, Halal) throughout factory operations.
- Achieve consumer and customer satisfaction and support business priorities.
- Coordination with External Parties:
- Collaborate with Nestlé Head Office, third parties, suppliers, and authorities on food safety and quality system implementation, certification, and assessment.
- Verification and Auditing:
- Lead internal auditing programs to assess the performance of food safety and quality systems.
- Report effectiveness and actions for improvement.
- Enhancement of Quality Control Systems:
- Enhance quality control and food safety control systems in production lines to ensure finished products meet standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as first-time quality and number of quality incidents.
- Employee Development:
- Assist in developing employee competency in food quality and safety.
- Complete employee development plans and address skill matrix gaps.
ARE YOU A FIT?
- University graduate or equivalent, preferably in microbiology, chemistry, food science, or food technology.
- Knowledge of Quality System and other international quality systems and standards.
- Experience in production and product technology.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, functions, and departments.
- Core knowledge of business principles, especially quality assurance and product safety.
- Effective communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Training and coaching skills.
- Competency in HACCP, NGMP, and Good Laboratory Practices.
- Ability to lead quality functions and influence with integrity.
