3-10+ years of working experience in safety function from food manufacturing
A DAY IN THE LIFE...
- Plan the annual safety & environment program at the plant for the Manager's approval.
- Arrange for an agenda and conduct monthly meetings of the safety and environment, and 5S committees at the plant.
- Control annual safety & environment and 5S programs of the plant to ensure the execution and compliance with Nestle corporate/market standards and government laws and regulations
- Provide periodic reports on safety & environment and 5S issues to concerned departments and to external parties such as Labour Welfare Department, Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand, Department of Industrial Work, provincial government officers, etc
- Participate in accident and near-miss accident and environment investigations to determine causes and propose preventive and corrective actions.
- Create tools, kits and instructions on safety at the plant to be in line with Nestle corporate/ market standards and government laws and regulations, as needed
- Ensure that safety equipment are properly implemented at the plant.
ARE YOU A FIT?
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent; certified as "Professional Safety Officer"
- Minimum 3 years of working experience
- Communicable in English
- Knowledge of food manufacturing
- Service minded, flexible, and work well under pressure with minimum supervision
