We are looking for an Engineering Executive to provide process engineering professional and technical support to the operational/manufacturing functions to continuously improve operational performance and examine equipment, processes and/or systems by applying scientific, mathematical and economic principles in order to implement and execute continuous improvements meeting the highest Nestlé standards of engineering integrity, product quality, safety and environmental protection.

A day in the life of Engineering Executive

• Ensure the technical integrity and performance of processes complies with Nestlé and regulatory requirements including: Nestlé Engineering Excellence (NEE), Nestlé Quality System (NQS), Hygienic Engineering, Food Safety, Nestle Good Manufacturing Practice, HACCP & Quality Monitoring Scheme.
• Monitor plant and processes by removing bottlenecks, quality constraints & liaise with Production, Quality and Engineering to resolve issues.
• Drive Continuous Improvement (CI).  Manage projects to time and budget & benchmark with partner factories / markets.
• Provide technical leadership in production & fill/pack processes.
• Coach and mentor team to increase productivity and efficiency by facilitating MBU concept
• Share engineering knowledge.
• Facilitate implementation of new technologies with local, corporate and PTC engineering.
• Comply with occupational safety and health instituted by the Company or OSHA Act 1994 & Environmental Laws & Regulation
• Maintain good working discipline & appraise performance subordinates & conduct training
• Implement SHE SOP’s & identift Hazards
• Minimize engineering and production impact on environmental pollution

What will make you successful

• Minimum 3 years experience in a technical field, preferably in a food manufacturing facility.
• Strong Technical, Communication and Leadership skills.
• Analytical skills in problem solving
• Ability to translate engineering knowledge into a full compliant operation (including Food Safety, Safety and Environment compliance)
• Ability to communicate with different areas within the factory (Production, quality, finance, etc)
