Position Summary

 

Nestlé has a unique opportunity for an Account Executive to join our sales team, supporting the Pharmacy channel. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Senior Customer Business Manager to develop and execute our ambitious plans.

 

Your responsibilities will encompass end-to-end management of our growth plans, through excellent execution of customer joint business plans.

A day in the Life…

 

This role is particularly suited to individuals with prior experience in Account Management with a desire to progress a career in Sales. In this position your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

 

  • Implementation of customer joint business plans ensuring compliance of agreed initiatives. 
  • Complete and submit customer promotional submission forms and new line forms.
  • Assist the CBM in reviewing category, customer and Nestle performance & competitor intel.
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders, building strong working relationships at all levels.
  • Internal communication of channel & customer issues and events to Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain & the Sales Management Team.
  • Assist the CBM in continually reviewing the promotional plan to ensure maximised effectiveness & delivery against financial targets.
  • Accurate trade spend management (CRM7) to ensure delivery against internal financial reporting requirements.
  • Effectively manage clash grids & commercial calendar / promotional documents internally.
  • Execute A+ content on customer websites, manage customer onsite promotional activity and monitor and review digital performance KPIs.

  • You will have strong commercial experience within a FMCG environment and have a proven capacity to effectively work with in a team as well as independently.
  • The successful candidate will have at least two years’ experience in a commercial environment (could be Category, Field Sales or Account Management)
  • You will be a natural collaborator with a strong proactive mind-set and be able to influence those around you to drive your account growth.
  • You will possess excellent presentation and strong communication skills to be able to articulate a clear vision effectively in partnership with your key account/s to achieve mutually beneficial commercial outcomes.
  • Your commercial approach and digital savviness will set you apart as will your conviction and resilience to work within a fast-paced agile environment.
  • You are a confident communicator and have the ability to adapt your communication style. 
  • Experience using Circana, Synergy & Quantium data is highly regarded.
  • You will need to be a people person, as you will regularly be in direct contact with customer category managers. 
  • Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships will be key to your success.
