The Opportunity:

 

Nestlé is looking for an organised and motivated Business Analyst to provide expert support in cost and costing analysis. In this role, you will conduct complex research, interpret financial and operational data, and deliver well‑informed recommendations that strengthen decision‑making and drive business performance.

 

A day in the life:

 

Reporting to the Technical/Operations Controller, you will:

 

  • Perform period‑end accounting activities including labour hour reconciliations, overhead absorption, WIP/FG valuation, and expense provisions.
  • Act as the central contact for variance analysis across factory production costs and overheads.
  • Coordinate forecasting and reporting for Total Delivered Cost (TDC) and overheads, ensuring clarity of cost assumptions.
  • Support business planning cycles and collaborate with factories and corporate finance on material price and master data queries.
  • Lead TDC optimisation by identifying cost‑saving opportunities and supporting savings initiatives.
  • Prepare, validate, and monitor CAPEX proposals in line with Nestlé investment policies.
  • Ensure accurate application of costing guidelines and act as the single point of contact for inventory and subcontracting matters.

 

What will make you successful:

 

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (completed or in progress).
  • Experience in accounting or costing, ideally within a factory or supply chain environment.
  • Strong governance, risk management, and compliance mindset.
  • Proficiency in business processes, systems, and effective planning rhythms.
  • Ability to interpret strategy, align stakeholders, and communicate insights clearly.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to deliver meaningful business analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborative, organised, and solutions‑focused, with strong interpersonal skills.
