Position Summary
To champion Quality & Compliance across the Oceania Supply Chain by ensuring robust Nestlé Quality Management Systems, strong traceability, and safe, compliant distribution from factory to customer. This role strengthens customer trust, supports commercial delivery, and drives continuous improvement across our logistics network.
A day in the Life
- Embed Nestlé’s Supply Chain Quality & Compliance strategy and support logistics excellence initiatives.
- Maintain and audit NQMS; coordinate external certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 22000, Dairy).
- Partner with NPD teams to ensure compliant Supply Chain trials and cost‑efficient distribution.
- Manage customer expectations and resolve Supply Chain quality issues with internal and external partners.
- Lead recall/withdrawal readiness and ensure full traceability compliance.
- Review non‑compliant complaints, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
- Maintain warehousing and transport standards; support site visits with a strong safety lens.
- Deliver training on new procedures, customer standards, and quality requirements.
What makes you successful
- Experience in Supply Chain Quality, Logistics, FMCG operations, or food manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of QMS, traceability, and external audit frameworks (ISO 9001/22000).
- Proven stakeholder management across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Commercial, and 3PLs.
- Experience managing customer complaints, root‑cause analysis, and quality investigations.
- Exposure to recalls/withdrawals and regulatory or certification requirements.
- Ability to lead and develop teams in a continuous improvement environment.
- Qualifications in Supply Chain, Quality, Food Science, Engineering, or related fields (preferred).
