POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a Credit Analyst to join our Finance and Control team based in Rhodes. In this 6 month contract role, the Credit Analyst will monitor existing Credit limits, Risk categories, Customer payments trend and Sales and authorize required change subject to the authority limits. 

 

They will ensure all Accounts Receivable (AR) activities are executed in a timely manner and according to the agreed KPIs while driving improvement initiatives in the AR operations by ensuring best practices are implemented and business/internal controls are in place.

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE…

 

  • Evaluate and authorize new accounts creation. Review, release and optimize number of orders placed on credit hold. 
  • Engage with customers to improve collections.
  • Ensure Orders are released on time and according to the agreed Credit Policy and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Ensure continuous improvement of the process to improve controls and efficiency.
  • Engage with Customers service and Sales to ensure that assigned deductions are resolve on time. 
  • Oversee Shared service team (NBS) to ensure timeliness of customer payment and collection to support company's goal for working capital. Work with NBS Team to follow up late payment and resolve cross-functional issue with Sales, Customer service teams etc.
  • Review, update Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Standard Routine (SR) in Account Receivables area. 
  • Ensure Account Receivables reporting is produced and distributed according to the agreed timelines.

 

ARE YOU A FIT?

 

  • You will have professional qualification in accounting and finance like CA/ CPA/ ACCA with at least 3 years’ experience.
  • Solid knowledge of Sales process and policies, including trade, terms and channels.
  • Prior experience in Credit management / Account Receivables. 
  • Good understanding of SAP to be able to drive continuous improvement projects (preferred)
  • Good analysis skills using the relevant systems and applications (SAP, MS office)
  • You will possess outstanding communication skills and have the flexibility to adapt your style to suit your audience.
  • Experience within a Retail, FMCG or similar environment will be considered highly advantageous.

 

Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and have Permanent Residency.
