The Opportunity:
The Rhodes team is looking for a meticulous and proactive individual to join us as a Customer Supply Chain Manager. This role involves driving innovative and sustainable supply chain solutions to give us a competitive edge, specifically tailored to our customers and in line with our Service Strategy. The candidate will manage a team of Customer-Based Coordinators, ensuring a seamless order-to-cash process across all Nestlé business units, while achieving high levels of customer service and cost efficiency. Additionally, the Customer Supply Chain Manager will act as the main contact for designated customers, addressing any supply chain issues that arise and identifying opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.

A day in the Life:
Deliver Supply Chain value creation for Nestlé and the Customer(s) by:
- Understanding and meeting Customer KPIs, reporting regularly on progress
- Building customer trust through reliable supply and accurate analysis
- Acting as the escalation point for supply chain issues and recommending solutions
Drive cross functional alignment:
- Defining and leading a common customer strategy in partnership with Sales and Supply Chain
- Developing joint improvement plans with Customers to enhance Nestlé's competitiveness
- Demonstrating commercial acumen and drawing insights between replenishment and business results
Driving Service Level improvements aligned to agreed Service Strategy:
- Ensuring inbound and outbound service levels across all business units
- Managing stock within Nestle/Customer systems for optimal product availability
- Conducting post-event analysis and managing performance specific to customers
Identify and achieve Supply Chain cost reductions:
- Leveraging eBusiness tools for efficient order management
- Identifying and addressing drivers of claims, returns, and refusals
- Reviewing customer activity and recommending alterations for cost-effective service
People Management:
- Developing and maintaining an effective team through training and coaching
- Conducting regular performance discussions and creating development plans
- Ensuring cross-training and leave coverage for uninterrupted service levels.
What will make you successful:
- 5 years or more experience in at least two of the following areas :
Customer Service
Demand & Supply Planning
Distribution/ Materials Handling
Sales and/ or Marketing
Retail Manager
- Project management experience to implementation of major project/s or change programme/s
- Has successfully led projects and initiatives that require a Commercial and Supply Chain understanding and knowledge
- Good Knowledge of the O2C systems within Nestle and customers (e.g. SAP / EDI/BW)
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc).
