Position Summary

 

Fantastic opportunity for an HR Coordinator to join the Corporate HR team at Nestlé Headquarters in Rhodes, Sydney on a 6-month contract. As a HR Coordinator you will act as the ‘face’ of HR and be part of a shared services team of experienced HR Advisors and HR Specialists. This permanent full-time role provides advice and support to HR colleagues, Managers and Employees across the full Employee Life Cycle and Talent Management cycles.

 

A day in the life…

 

Reporting to the Head of HR Services, key responsibilities of the role include, but not limited to:

 

  • Providing high quality advice and customer service to staff at all levels on HR policies, processes and services for AU, NZ & Pacific Island Markets.
  • Generating employment contracts, letters, and documentation for all aspects of the employee life cycle.
  • Processing and approving Employee Move or Change requests to our Payroll Processing team based in Manilla.
  • Coordinating Service Awards for AU, NZ & Pacific Island Markets.
  • Providing input and support to HR projects and other initiatives driven by our HR business partners and centres of excellence.

 

What will make you successful

 

Joining a collaborative team of specialists, you will be self-motivated, proactive and have a proven capacity to work effectively within a team environment.

 

You will have experience working in a similar role within a large, complex organisation, with an understanding of HR practices and you are passionate about providing exceptional customer service. Other skills and experience include:

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business or related field of study.
  • 2 to 3 years' experience working in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of HR practices in both Australia and New Zealand
  • Strong attention to detail, solid understanding of employment contract preparation, policy advice and generalist HR duties.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • You enjoy working with data and spreadsheets with strong excel skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about working for Nestlé and sharing its purpose.
