We are looking for an IT HR Specialist to join our Oceania IT team based in Rhodes, Sydney. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and communication skills in an exciting role that combines business as usual support with projects. You will provide IT Business Partnering services to the Nestle HR Department, including support of the HR related Nestle core systems, complimentary solutions, market applications and their continuous evolution.

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE…

 

Reporting to the IT HR Lead, your key responsibilities will include:

 

•    Providing day to day support of the business application solutions - SAP and complementary applications such as Success Factors and local market heritage applications, third party supplier software and others including interfaces and middleware components.
•    Diagnosing and resolving incidents, assisting end users, analysing and completing requests raised, co-ordinating with the business, super users, regional and global IT teams and third-party vendors as appropriate, utilising the ServiceNow incident and request management tool and recommending corrective action to prevent recurrence whilst adhering to service level objectives.
•    Acting as the business partner to the internal HR community to develop a joint technology roadmap of how IT solutions can contribute positive benefit to the business and address their needs.
•    Assessing the impact of, and participating in, the testing of the periodic minor and major releases delivered to the market, such as SAP support packs and application upgrades and co-ordinating the closure of test tasks with business super user.
•    Gaining insights and understanding of business requirements and making recommendations on the applicability of IT solutions to meet these business requirements.
•    Leading/guiding market project teams in undertaking small-scale business process improvement projects or initiatives; and/or the deployment of IT solution functionalities within the Human Resources community.
•    Delivering training to end users and super users and participating in business process improvement initiatives & projects, including the preparation or customisation of training materials.
•    Identifying, submitting and testing configuration and batch job change requests.
•    Analyse and prepare functional specifications for approved custom developments to augment the market business applications.
•    Preparing test scenarios and test scripts for such custom developments and interfaces and conduct testing to ensure these developments meet the market requirements.
•    Preparing and reviewing process and technical documentation. 

 

ARE YOU A FIT?

 

•    Joining a collaborative team of specialists, you will be a strong team player with a history of delivering results in a high pressure and dynamic environment.
•    Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
•    3+ years’ experience in SAP, application analysis, implementation and support. 
•    Technical knowledge on SAP HR and Success Factors.
•    Functional knowledge of SAP HR processes (eg: payroll, employee lifecycle and benefits). 
•    Effective communication skills are vital as you develop working partnerships with internal and external stakeholders across the globe. 
•    An agile mindset, willing to be curious and to use initiative whilst acting in a secure and complaint manner at all times.
•    With stakeholders based in various time zones, flexibility is required as you may need to participate in teleconferences and activities outside of standard business hours.
