An exciting opportunity currently exists for an experienced IT Supply Chain Functional Relationship Manager (FRM) to join our IT team based in Rhodes, Sydney. The main purpose of the Oceania IT SC Functional Relationship Manager role is to facilitate effective collaboration and communication between the Supply Chain (SC) functions and IT (Regional/Global).
A day in the life…
Reporting to the Head of IT, Oceania, key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Relationship Management:
- Deep understanding of functional Business objectives, processes, governance and challenges and build strong relationships with Business key stakeholders.
- Help business leaders shape their strategies regarding product.
- Be the principal point of contact between an organization’s senior leadership.
Value Delivery:
- Regularly attend the ‘receivers’ meetings and becomes part of their extended functional team.
- Make the link between specific business objectives, activities, initiatives, projects or programs and IT to identify, forecast and deliver multi-product group integrated value.
- Steer the integration and adoption of solutions between receiver and product group / platform roadmaps.
Risk Management:
- Map and monitor dependencies across the various initiatives of the in-scope Product/Platform Groups and conducts proactive business impact analysis and risk assessment.
- Create mitigation plans and schedules cross the product group.
Governance:
- Participate in the IT governance processes that enable prioritization across multiple options.
- Support the business governance processes and improvements of Ways of Working (WoW).
Support/Sustain:
- Build trust with function by ensuring “Run IT” activities are delivered as expected.
- Act as the escalation point for sustain issues.
- Ensure market sustain KPI’s and product measures are delivered.
Security, Compliance & Risk Management:
- Accountable for ensuring all applications within their product/platform are delivered and maintained secure and compliant with internal standards and external regulations, including privacy requirements, Business Continuity Plans etc.
Leadership
- Create alignment and the adoption of our IT Vision to Life (IT V2L), lead by example, promote an open culture and our values in a sustainable way, promote innovation and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Empower and enable people, give and receive feedback, evaluate and differentiate performance, constantly challenge the set-up organization to ensure its results and effectiveness.
What will make you successful
- Joining a collaborative team of Specialists, you will be a leader with proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in a product-based IT organization.
- Preferably 5-year experience in Supply chain function.
- 7+ years’ experience in IT (e.g. BA, PM, etc.)
- Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English
- Experience working in a global matrix environment and with virtual teams.
