We are looking for an IT Supply Chain Specialist to join our Oceania IT team based in Rhodes, Sydney. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and communication skills in an exciting role that combines business as usual support and projects.

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE…

 

Reporting to the IT Supply Chain Lead, your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Provide the day to day support of the business application solutions – SAP and other complementary applications, third party supplier software and others including interfaces and middleware components.
  • Diagnose and resolve incidents, analyse and complete requests raised co-ordinating with the business, super users, regional and global IT teams and third-party vendors as appropriate.
  • Provide end-user support in the use of Data Analytics tools, validation of reports and creation of ad-hoc reports.
  • Assess the impact and participate in the testing of the periodic minor and major releases delivered to the market – Support Packs, Import-All, Version Upgrades, etc.
  • Co-ordinate with supers users on the market acceptance testing of such releases.
  • Gains insights and understanding of business requirements and make recommendations on the applicability of IT Solution to meet these business requirements.
  • Leads/guides market project team in undertaking small-scale business process improvement projects or initiatives; and/or the deployment of IT Solution functionalities.
  • Delivers training to end users and super users and participates in Business Process improvement initiatives & projects.
  • Analyse and prepare functional specifications for approved custom developments to augment the market business application.
  • Prepare test scenarios and test scripts for such custom developments and interfaces and conduct testing to ensure these developments meet the market requirements.
  • Identify, submit and test Configuration Work Requests / Configuration Change Requests.
  • Provide inputs to training materials for custom developments and other required documentation.
  • Define and submit market batch job requirements and other end of cycle processing as well as middleware requests including the Local Application Hub and the Market Staging Server.
  • Responsible for the follow-up of ServiceNow work items and documentation.

 

ARE YOU A FIT?

 

  • Joining a collaborative team of Specialists, you will be a strong team player with a history of delivering results in a high pressure and dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • SAP Applications Specialist / SAP Consulting for the process stream functional area, ideally with full-cycle SAP Implementation experience.
  • An advanced knowledge of SAP APO and an understanding of the functional processes in Supply Chain, such as Demand & Supply Planning, Sales and Distribution and Physical Logistics.
  • Possess Business Object or Data analysis skills.
  • Effective communication skills are vital as you develop working partnerships with internal and external stakeholders across the globe.
  • With stakeholders based in various time zones, flexibility is required as you may occasionally need to participate in teleconferences and activities outside of standard business hours.
