We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Technology Specialist to join our IT team in Nestle corporate headquarters in Rhodes, Sydney.
In this role, you will maintain and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment, video conferencing systems, and other related technologies to facilitate effective meetings and presentations. Provide general technical support for IT-related issues, end user training and technical troubleshooting.
A day in the life…
Reporting to the IT Digital Innovation Leader & W360 FRM, key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Meeting Room Configuration and Support:
- Ensure all meeting rooms are equipped with the necessary technology and are ready for use.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for meeting room technologies. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during meetings to ensure minimal disruption.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on how to use meeting room technologies effectively.
- Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on meeting room technologies.
- Work closely with the W360, ITP, O-CIO and other departments to ensure meeting room technologies meet the needs of the organisation.
Technology Support:
- Manage and support the use of RF guns in the warehouse. Ensure that RF guns are properly configured, maintained, and functioning correctly. Provide training and user support.
- Address any issues related to RF gun usage and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support and manage W360 projects and deliverables, focusing on core projects such as OS upgrades.
- Act as a liaison between IT external partners and internal Regional/Global IT support teams to address and resolve technical issues.
- Develop and implement sustain support models for new and emerging technologies
Technology operational effectiveness and efficiency:
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures.
- Establish and maintain performance metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of IT operations.
- Use data-driven insights to identify trends, monitor system performance, and proactively address potential issues.
- Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders and use the insights to drive continuous improvement initiative.

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT support, with a focus on audio-visual and video conferencing technologies.
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft O365.
- Prior demonstrated adaptability to change is essential, for staying ahead with the latest technologies and innovations.
- Experience with effective oral and written communication at different levels in the organization.
- Ability of Self-Management following defined KPIs/Objectives, and proactively tracking them
- Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams.
