POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for an Internal Controls Specialist to join our Finance and Control team based in Rhodes. As a subject matter expert for internal controls and business continuity, you will build positive relationships with internal stakeholders and be their ‘go to’ person for guidance and advice. 

 

Partnering with various functions and businesses across Oceania, you will drive initiatives to achieve Internal Control and Business Continuity targets and requirements. You will also be Oceania’s single point of contact for Regional and Global Internal Control Centre of Compliance stakeholders. 

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE…

 

  • Partnering with various business or functional units to:
    • Ensure appropriate controls are in place to mitigate key risks identified in the processes
    • Drive and achieve the internal control targets set by the Group
    • Reduce segregation of duties exceptions / high sensitive roles
  • Managing and resolving Internal Control issues and gaps.
  • Coordinating localization of ‘End to End (E2E)’ process standardisation initiative by the Group.
  • Co-ordinating the yearly assessment of effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Co-ordinating with factories and other sites and assisting them in developing and testing business continuity plans.
ARE YOU A FIT?

 

  • You will have professional qualification in accounting and finance like CA/ CPA/ ACCA with 3 to 5 years’ experience working in Big4 Accounting firms within Audit function.
  • Must have a consultative approach to building partnerships.
  • You will possess outstanding communication skills and have the flexibility to adapt your style to suit your audience.
  • You will have an analytical mindset and the resilience to challenge the status quo and drive change. 
  • Ideally you will be coming from an Audit background with experience of working with large and complex organizations. 

 

Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and have Permanent Residency.
