POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for Busines Analyst Costing to join our Finance and Control team based in Rhodes. In this role, the Business Analyst will provide support and expertise around cost/costing analysis.  Will undertake complex and critical research, interpret the results of analysis and provide alternatives and recommendations for further consideration.

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE…

 

  • Participate in Market driven Projects when Costing contribution is required. Coordinate OPEX Savings with the DCs / Head Office and consolidate the OPEX savings reports.
  • Manage reporting of actuals and forecasts across supply chain activities and fixed overheads; ensure transparency, accuracy, and timeliness of this process.
  • Follow up and monitor progress to close gaps, ensuring Nestle financial policies, Accounting Standards and Costing Standards are followed by promoting ownership of data at source. 
  • Perform monthly variance analysis of YTD vs Plan. Contribute to Benchmarking exercises, where required.
  • Drive business planning for Supply Chain activities; including the build-up of the various simulation phases together with the Supply Chain teams and Warehouse Management team.  
  • Perform forecasts, revisions or simulations if needed, including modelling of physical and financial flows regarding Warehousing.
  • Post relevant journals for Supply Chain activities.
  • Ensure the proper application of new or updated Guidelines and its integration within the concerned Costing Processes. 
  • Development or update of costing functionalities, tools and solutions are properly tested and understood for all issues related to inventory valuation, subcontracting and Co-Manufacturing.
  • Promote clear understanding of costing processes both within the Costing community, Supply Chain and Finance community.

 

ARE YOU A FIT?

 

  • Joining a collaborative team, you will be a strong team player with a history of delivering results in a high-pressure environment. You have the demonstrated ability to adapt to fast pace changes. You will have a natural passion for data and an eye for detail.
  • You will ideally be degree qualified in finance and have at least 3 years’ experience in Accounting or Costing, preferably within supply chain function.
  • You will have strong technical, analytical and problem-solving capabilities. 
  • Have advanced excel skills. Experience working with SAP Finance module are preferred.
  • You will possess outstanding communication skills and have the flexibility to adapt your style to suit your audience.

 

Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and have Permanent Residency.
