We are looking for an passionate Consumer Data Manager to join our Communications and Marketing Excellence team in Sydney, Australia. Reporting to our Director Marketing & Communications you will lead our data acquisition and strategy across the Nestlé portfolio to attract and engage consumers at relevant points throughout product lifecycle.
This is an exciting opportunity where you will work with a diverse portfolio of loved Australian brands. You will collaborate with key decision makers to foster a data driven marketing culture to increase our reliance and usage of 1st party data, simultaneously building internal capabilities. This role will identify technology needs to deliver to our consumers expectations.
A day in the life of...
In this diverse role, no two days will look the same. Some of your key role will involve:
- Partnering with the business to acquire data across all relevant communication touchpoints with a focus on the digital ecosystem (Website, Lead gen ads, search & acquisition initiatives).
- You will be responsible for the segmentation of the database across the Nestlé portfolio. Set the agenda and develop a maturity framework across the brands that increases the quality, usage and depth of our data.
- Deployment of guidelines for best practice data capture and CRM across the wider marketing team, steadily increasing the quality of our data.
- Partnering with business to define role of SEM & SEO for brands and overseeing best practice
- Develop and maintain the relationships with key external and internal technology suppliers and agencies both globally and locally.
- Ensure marketing database and all data marketing campaigns comply with privacy and spam legislation in both Australia and New Zealand.
What will make you successful
- You will have proven Digital Project Management experience, gained within a Digital Agency Proven track record of marketing strategies and implementation
- It is essential that you have Database segmentation experience
- You will have strong communication and influence skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders at multiple levels
- Ideally you will have experience in a similar CRM or Data Management role and have experience FMCG / Multi brand industry
- You will have a solid understanding of digital marketing techniques – SEO, Websites, Social, Programmatic
- You will have strong business acumen with proven experience of budget and P&L
- Ideally you will hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing/Mathematics / Statistics / Economics
- You will be enthusiastic and passionate about data and the possibilities
Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and have Permanent Residency.
