The Opportunity
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced and motivated Commercial Development Manager to join our Ready to Eats Cereal team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
In this role you will work on a highly respected UNCLE TOBYS Ready to Eat Cereal (RTEC) portfolio. You will be working in a fast-paced environment on one of our most iconic brands, so if you have what it takes to take this next step in your career and deliver the commercial outcomes required from this key role, we’d like to hear from you.
A day in the life of...
This role is primarily responsible for leading the development of strategic category planning, channel identification, prioritisation and investment strategy.
You will achieve this through applying your commercial acumen in understanding and maximising shopper insights in the development of category strategies for execution in our customers’ stores.
Flexing your ability to analyse market, customer and shopper data, you will develop strategies based on category and shopper understanding that will see growth through leadership with our major customers.
Building relationships at all levels within our business, you will develop effective point of purchase initiatives and leverage support for your strategic direction of our RTEC portfolio. Essential to success in this position is previous sales or category experience in the grocery channel and extensive commercial capability.

- Demonstrated strategic business planning & implementation skills
- Strong financial acumen and awareness
- A solid understanding of insight, trends and implications
- The ability to influence cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams to build, agree and execute a solid growth-oriented strategy
- Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and have permanent residency
