We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Brand Manager to join our close-knit team! In this exciting role you will get full exposure to the marketing mix. You will have the unique opportunity to support our Marketing team with the current and future direction of our key brands.


 This role will focus on executing marketing initiatives, assisting with communications and New Product Development (NPD) launches as well as monitoring performance (such as sales, market share figures and competitive reviews) and the management of budgets.

A day in the life of...

 

In this diverse and fun role; no two days will look the same. As the Assistant Brand Manager for our Purina portfolio; a day in the life will look like:

 

  • Assist with the development and executing communication campaigns
  • Leading the execution of digital brand building initiatives
  • Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, including commercial, agency partners and Regional marketing contacts
  • Monitoring and analysing brand performance metrics including sales volumes, market share trends and competitor activity
  • Leading the day-to-day marketing budget management 
  • Supporting the Marketing team on key projects 

What will make you successful

 

  • Ideally you will hold a degree in Business / Marketing and have sound experience in an Assistant Brand Manager or similar marketing /commercial role, 
  • Highly preferred you will have exposure within FMCG industry
  • It is essential you have excellent communication skills – being clear and influencing with integrity. Being able to present both internally and to external agency partners. 
  • Strong project management skills – demonstrate delivery and ability to problem solve
  • A self-starter with a can-do attitude, coupled with a results focus mindset to drive business outcomes
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and have Permanent Residency.
