POSITION SUMMARY

You will be required to interpret a large amount of data to understand and translated into insight for the FMCG industry. Work with internal stakeholders gather business intelligent to develop forecasts and recommend a solution. 
Our forecasts play a key role in ensuring the availability of all Nestle products in the right place at the right time that is vital in our planning and operational process
This position operates independently within a small team dedicated to providing forecasting, metrics, data reports/visualisations and in-depth analysis to inform Executive decision makers, particularly in relation to Nestlé’s strategic goals.

A DAY IN THE LIFE...

Reporting to the Demand Manager, you will be developing and advising the forecast for Nestle products short term & long term. Primarily using SAS & globe technology, to sense demand and generate high quality forecast at the required level to meet the business needs. 
•    Generate & Manage SAS Forecasting solution in the market including appropriate process and data model to support business needs to consistently achieve sustainable Demand Plan Accuracy improvement f
•    Technical trouble shoot issues in DPAPO & Sustain SAS technical jobs to ensure the business continuality        
•    Sustain & improvements to Demand Planning processes and tools to deliver tangible benefits such as time savings, increased efficiencies             
•    Sustain current & generate new reporting to support the business (Dashboard, collab deck, monitoring & functional reporting etc )                
•    Explore and experiment new ways of utilizing data and statistical methods to enhance the quality of demand forecast and generate high value business insights within and beyond    
•    Drive fast, appropriate actions to minimize the impact of deviations from the Demand Plan. Communicate these actions to stakeholders.                            
    

ARE YOU A FIT?

  • Experience using Power BI is a must
  • Have worked with SAP system & information system knowledge 
  • Data transformation experience
  • Have interpersonal skill, the ability to work with other teams
  • Have the ability to hit the grown running

Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and have Permanent Residency.
