We have a very exciting opportunity for a Payroll Operations Specialist to join our Oceania HR team in Rhodes. 


This is a 2-year fixed term contract role and will provide Operational support to ensure the smooth and accurate running of AU and NZ Payrolls remotely to Nestlé Business Services (NBS) payroll operations who are based in the Philippines.


A day in the life…


Reporting to the Payroll Manager, key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Provide day-to-day operational support to the Offshore Processing Team (NBS) and sites. 
  • Validation of End of Employment payments and Off Cycle Payments.
  • Troubleshooting and issue resolution impacting current pay runs.
  • Investigate, analyse, and resolve HR/Payroll issues that could not be resolved by tier 2 NBS support.
  • Collaborate with Employee Relations, Human Resources, Payroll Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and external entities to identify and address operational and compliance issues. Ensuring timely adherence to all industrial agreements and statutory obligations.
  • Identify and provide insights and recommendations enhancing efficiency and remediation of manual/outdated processes to system functions, transactions, and processes.
  • Assist Payroll Manager with Project initiatives and testing support.
  • Act as the Singe Point of Contact (SPOC) between NBS and the payroll SME's supporting and tracking progress of each payroll.
  • Assist Payroll Manager in creating and maintaining appropriate local payroll documentation and standard operating procedures.  
  • Oversee NBS in maintaining the necessary documentation updates due to  legislative or policy / procedure changes and ensure NBS adhere to the changed processes.

  • Excellent knowledge of AU/NZ payroll.
  • In depth knowledge and experience of SAP HR and Payroll is essential whilst knowledge of Kronos will be highly regarded.
  • Payroll related projects experience.
  • A confident communicator who is highly analytical and reliable.
  • Experience working in a global environment with virtual teams.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the aptitude to quickly learn new systems and processes essential.
