We are looking for an exceptional and motivated Senior Business Analyst. As a Senior Business Analyst – Supply Chain, you will play a crucial role in both forecasting and interpreting financial results. Your expertise in financial analysis will be instrumental in identifying cost-saving opportunities and driving efficiency within our supply chain team. By closely monitoring expenditure, you will provide valuable insights and recommendations to optimize our financial performance.

 

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Finance, and Business Units to gather and analyse data, develop financial models, and prepare comprehensive reports. Your ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to stakeholders at all levels will be essential in driving informed decision-making and influencing strategic initiatives.

 

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyse actual performance across Supply Chain, reporting any major changes and impacts.
  • Accurate and timely forecasting by functional area and business unit allocation.
  • Ensure transparency of costs and informative insights to aide decision making.
  • Validate proposed and actual Supply Chain cost savings.
  • Support optimization projects across Cost of Distribution, Seafreight, Bad Goods, and Working Capital
  • Distribution Costing expert of Oceania Market, acting as key interface to Centre of Costing Competence.
  • Maintain integrity and accuracy of financial and operational data, highlighting any Internal Control gaps.

Skills and experience:

  • ​​Tertiary qualification in an Accounting Discipline or studying towards one.
  • Prior experience in Accounting / Finance function, ideally within a factory or supply chain.
  • Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience within a network organization (internal and external providers).
  • Microsoft Office experience is a must.
