POSITION SUMMARY

 

Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia | Full Time Permanent

 

THE OPPORTUNITY

 

This role sits in Nestlé Professional team where we have a comprehensive product range delivering Culinary Food Service solutions along with Soluble coffee solutions, Liquid and Roast & Ground coffees. Leading product brands such as Maggi, Buitoni, Docello, Nescafe, Buondi & Milo.  We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced State Distribution Manager to join our team at Nestlé Professional. As a member of our Nestlé Professional NSW/ACT Sales team, you will be responsible for maintaining an existing distributor portfolio as well as generating and developing new business opportunities. 

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF...

 

In this fast-paced and varied role, a day in the life will look like:

 

  • Drive sales results for each National Account within your portfolio, meeting targets and forecasts.
  • Develop and implement business plans for each account, aligning with national plans and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with National Account Managers to align monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
  • You will design and implement our annual customer plans to ensure we are aligned with overall Nestlé Professional business and customer strategies, while achieving profitable sales objectives
  • You will execute plans for assigned Accounts that are aligned with National Account Plans and Nestlé Professional business objectives and customer strategies.
  • You will be accountable and responsible to achieve agreed Account targets, inclusive of defined category targets,
  • You will help coach and develop distribution account executives within the team for the regional accounts that sit within the portfolio.
  • You need to have the drive to follow-up with customers, building enduring commercial relationships and provide the best customer service. Financial acumen and strong organisational skills are a must have.

 

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL

 

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Territory Management and/or Account Executive roles within the Out-of-Home (OOH) environment.
  • Ideally you will have experience working in distribution account management, new business & channel development.
  • Experience in the Foodservice market is preferred, with a demonstrated ability to achieve KPI’s and sales targets.
  • You will need display resilience and an ability to be nimble in you approach to delivering the agreed outcomes.
  • Above all you are driven by providing the best customer service and growing the business.
  • Due to the nature of this role, it is also important that you have a valid driver’s licence, you are comfortable spending time on the road with regional travel required when applicable.
