We are currently seeking a Supply Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the supply network of the assigned business area. Your primary focus will be on replenishing dispatch points to meet customer service objectives while maintaining optimal stock cover and cost optimisation. Key responsibilities include:
- Analyse and evaluate supply plans to meet customer needs while considering network complexity and supply constraints.
- Manage daily supply execution from order creation to order availability to ensure timely delivery.
- Analyse exceptions and make informed business decisions to adjust planning results.
- Establish production requirements and follow up on production plans.
- Communicate relevant information effectively, highlighting supply issues and proposing realistic and achievable actions.
- Balance product availability and inventory costs to maintain optimum stock levels.
- Establish stock policies for finished goods and proactively address deviations.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and demand planners to optimize lot sizes and improve demand planning accuracy.
- Identify volume variance issues and implement process improvements to enhance supply planning efficiency.
- Conduct monthly reviews of shipping lead times and ensure accurate reflection in SAP.
- Coordinate and monitor import management system (IMS) performance, including brief coordination and complaint resolution.
- Ensure accurate transmission of production requirements for ocean freight tender volumes.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is highly regarded.
- Proven experience in supply planning, inventory management, and logistics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in SAP or other relevant supply chain management software.
- Knowledge of demand forecasting and production planning principles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
