A permanent opportunity currently exists for a Forecasting Specialist to join the Technical Planning team here at Rhodes. Reporting to the Demand Manager, you will be responsible developing appropriate data flow and statistical method. Primarily using SAS Application, to generate high quality forecast at the appropriate level and adding value by generating business insight

A DAY IN THE LIFE...
  • Generate & manage Forecasting solution in the market including appropriate process and data model to support business needs to consistently achieve sustainable Demand Plan Accuracy (DPA) improvement: (accuracy level and variability, bias balance). +B18:F26 
  • "Level 2 support : Technical trouble shoot issues in DPAPO & SAS jobs to ensure the business continuality
  • Manages Technical priorities to ensure business continuality  
  • Sustain & improvements forecasting processes and tools to deliver tangible benefits (e.g.: time savings, increased efficiencies, insights etc.)    
  • Share and co-innovate with the D&SP planners to ensure sustainability in capability & shared learnings
  • Explore and experiment new ways of utilizing data and statistical methods to enhance the quality of demand forecast and generate high value business insights within and beyond
  • Drive fast, appropriate actions to minimize the impact of deviations from the Demand Plan. Communicate these actions to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain the integrity of reports to track and monitor the use/adoption of SAS (statistical forecasts), alerts for corrections/improvements and other analytical insights"
  • Manage /coordinate the Sustain current & generate new reporting to support the business (Dashboard, collab deck etc )
  • Train & Develop and coach team member
ARE YOU A FIT?
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, have exposure working with SAP APO DP & SAS
  • Ideally have previous Analytics experience and possess previous exposure within FCMG or Supply Chain.
  • You have the ability to work with tight deadlines in a dynamic environment, delivering high quality outputs with strong attention to detail and an ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • You will possess excellent presentation and strong communication skills to be able to articulate a clear vision effectively in partnership with your key account/s to achieve mutually beneficial commercial outcomes.

 

Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and have Permanent Residency.
