POSITION SUMMARY

To support the development and implementation of sourcing strategies (with a focus on Marketing-related categories).  This role provides broad exposure to the Procurement function, and includes working alongside multiple stakeholders to understand business needs, improve processes, drive outcomes and deliver value through sourcing activities and negotiations.

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE...

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Leading sourcing activities to deliver value in identified categories, including understanding business needs across multiple business units
• Developing strong relationships with stakeholders and driving process improvements
• Supporting Strategic Buyers with the implementation of sourcing strategies and projects, reporting and issue resolution
• Providing insights to support cost management and provide timely visibility in relation to risks and opportunities
• Managing local supplier relationships to ensure delivery of service levels and KPIs.

ARE YOU A FIT?

• You have the ability to successfully drive and deliver projects, and understand end-to-end processes
• You are a problem solver, proactive and strong in implementing sustainable solutions to address business needs and/or issues
• You have excellent collaboration, influencing and interpersonal skills, and experience with managing stakeholders and suppliers
• You have strong analytical skills and an understanding of risk management

The ideal candidate has demonstrated success in delivering procurement projects with cross-functional and cross-market teams. Experience within FMCG and Marketing Procurement, coupled with experience in a multi-national or complex local environment, will be viewed favourably. A can-do attitude and desire to learn will see you succeed in this role.      

Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and have Permanent Residency.
