Position Summary

The Industrial Services Operator is responsible for performing installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various cooling systems, including air conditioning units, desert coolers, and HVAC systems.

 The role ensures all equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably to support optimal comfort and operational continuity across facilities.

The technician also performs routine inspections, identifies system faults, and implements corrective actions to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.

Key Outputs:

1. Install, assemble, and commission air conditioning units (split, window, package), desert coolers, and HVAC systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.                                                       
2. Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime and ensure continuous comfort for building occupants.                                            
3. Replace or repair faulty parts, including motors, fans, compressors, thermostats, capacitors, and pumps.                                                  
4. Make recommendations to replace equipment if expected cost to repair exceeds possible replacement cost.                                                      
5. Coordinate with maintenance supervisors, vendors, and contractors for specialized repairs or system upgrades.                                           
6. Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry standards during all work activities.                                                                                                                                          

Key Experiences:

• College level and diploma holder in technical field will be preferred
• 2– 3 years of proven experience in a similar field preferably in FMCG sector
