Position Summary
Nestlé USA is seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Customer Account Manager for Walmart International. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting strategy and business development within Nestlé markets and across NiM operating companies. This role is pivotal in managing relationships, facilitating knowledge transfer, and unlocking domestic and international business opportunities to ensure global alignment and support local management.
Location: Rogers, AR Office based role requires in office Tues, Wed, Thurs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support strategy and business development in Nestlé markets and across NiM operating companies.
- Manage Top-to-Top (T2T) relationships and facilitate best practice transfer.
- Interface with Walmart International Merchandising Center of Excellence and Sam’s Club Global Leverage teams.
- Ensure global alignment and support local management.
- Build and maintain relationships with Nestlé Walmart Champions and key stakeholders to drive local performance visibility and global results.
- Align with Nestlé Walmart Champions on demand generation and joint value creation initiatives.
- Communicate Walmart’s global priorities and integrate them into local integrated business planning.
- Identify and resolve issues and opportunities across markets.
- Support innovation, renovation, and explore new product opportunities in the U.S. market.
- Help local teams establish strategic partnerships and alliances.
- Collaborate with regional and global customer interface teams.
- Contribute to Omni-channel acceleration and improve ways of working with Walmart.
- Provide tools and data to support negotiations with Walmart.
- Act as an escalation point and interface with Walmart International.
Experience
- International experience preferred, but not required
- Demonstrated ability to storytell using data and insights.
- At least 5 years of relevant sales experience in the CPG industry
- Proven experience in business development and relationship management
- Proven ability to effectively communicate and negotiate, presenting the company’s offerings and addressing customer concerns.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate across departments (e.g., marketing, sales, product development) to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Experience developing and implementing strategies that align with the company's long-term goals, setting ambitious targets, and regularly reviewing progress
- Strong knowledge of Nestlé markets and NiM operating companies preferred but not required
Skills
- Able to influence with integrity, provide impactful insights and engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic Sales and Marketing: This involves identifying and targeting potential clients, understanding customer needs, and developing tailored pitches that resonate with different audiences. It also includes the ability to craft marketing strategies that align with business goals, leverage market research, and drive sales growth
- Networking and Relationship Management: Building and nurturing long-term relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers is crucial. This skill set encompasses connecting with people at various levels, understanding stakeholder needs, and maintaining strong professional networks
- Communication: Effective communication and negotiation skills are paramount for presenting the company's offerings and addressing any objections raised by potential clients
- Analytical: The ability to analyze market trends, customer data, and business performance to make informed decisions and identify growth opportunities
- Problem-Solving: Being able to identify and resolve issues and opportunities across markets is essential for driving business growth
- Collaboration: Working effectively with regional and global customer interface teams, as well as local teams, to establish strategic partnerships and alliances
- Technical: Proficiency in using productivity tools like Outlook and Office 360 collaboration tools, as well as strong capabilities in prioritization and time management
- Fluent in Spanish preferred but not required
