Position Summary – Your Impact
As the Manager of Customer-Facing Supply Chain, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless supply chain operations that directly impact customer satisfaction and business performance. Your role will involve managing the end-to-end supply chain processes, from order fulfillment to delivery, while maintaining strong relationships with key customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain efficiency and enhance the customer experience.

 

Primary Responsibilities – What You’ll Do
•    Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers regarding supply chain matters. Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
•    Order Fulfillment: Oversee the order fulfillment process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers. Address and resolve any issues that arise during the process.
•    Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability and minimize stockouts. Collaborate with procurement and production teams to manage inventory effectively.
•    Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure efficient transportation and delivery of products. Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve service levels.
•    Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain operations and customer satisfaction. Provide regular reports to senior leadership.
•    Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance supply chain efficiency and customer service.
•    Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives.

•    Marketing: Collaborate with marketing teams to align promotional activities with supply chain capabilities.
•    Finance: Work with finance teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models related to supply chain operations.
•    Operations: Coordinate with operations teams to ensure production schedules align with customer demand and delivery timelines.
•    Customer Service: Engage with customer service teams to address customer inquiries and resolve supply chain-related issues.

 

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES 
•    Sales: Partner with sales teams to understand customer needs and ensure supply chain processes support sales strategies.
•    Marketing: Collaborate with marketing teams to align promotional activities with supply chain capabilities.
•    Finance: Work with finance teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models related to supply chain operations.
•    Operations: Coordinate with operations teams to ensure production schedules align with customer demand and delivery timelines.
•    Customer Service: Engage with customer service teams to address customer inquiries and resolve supply chain-related issues.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
•    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred.
•    Experience: 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field, with at least 2-3 years in a customer-facing role. Experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred.
•    Technical Skills: Proficiency in supply chain management software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
•    Certifications: Relevant certifications in supply chain management, logistics, or project management are beneficial.
•    Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with diverse teams.
