As a Digital Lean Asset Project Manager, you will drive the manufacturing assembly strategy of electrical appliances and key components for Nespresso coffee machine. You will implement and standardize key automation technologies, targeting the best industrial performance at suppliers. 

In this role, you will manage the Industrialization projects and the E2E the assembly related industrial assets to ensure best cost, quality and time to meet the business demand. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with numerous departments, including the R&D teams to drive DFMA of new product innovations. 

 

A Day in the Life of a Digital Lean Asset Project Manager 

 

  • Ensure best in class management of Nespresso manufacturing assets 
  • Drive, for critical asset, technical and quality validation, sustaining standardization and flexibility as needed 
  • Lead standardization and continuous Improvement projects targeting CAPEX and COGS efficiency 
  • Manage and develop the production capacity management activities for coffee machines, including at key component suppliers 
  • Identify manufacturing footprint risks and opportunities with relevant action plans to better serve the business 
  • Collaborate with the coffee machine engineering team and R&D department to ensure best final quality of the product 
  • Implement necessary metrics to drive priorities in continuous improvement activities 
  • Continuously improve and optimize the asset & capacity management system 
  • Drive digital twin transition in partnership with external stakeholders 

 

What will make you successful 

 

  • Degree in Engineering, Automation or equivalent 
  • 5 years’ experience Automation or industrial Engineer with manufacturing experience 
  • Project management competences and strong organizational skills 
  • Experience in Digital Transformation (Industry 4.0, Digital Twins...) would be an asset 
  • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification a strong plus 
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence without authority 
  • Ability to define a strategy while keeping a hands-on on the field approach 
  • Ability to travel to suppliers (10%) 
  • Fluent in English, French and/or German is a plus
