Position Summary

 

As a Production capacity project engineer with expertise in injection, you will have to ensure the Production Capacity & Asset management You will drive technical validation of moulds and drive necessary component release to sustain production capacity.
In addition, you will have to involved new launch to ensure technical support and ensure production capacity is setup at suppliers for new launches.

A day in the life of a Production capacity project engineer with expertise in injection

 

  • Ensure best in class management of Nespresso manufacturing assets (moulds, testers, assembly lines, jigs...) at manufacturers and suppliers
  • Drive, for critical components, technical validation of new moulds ordered for capacity reasons
  • Coordinate financial, technical and operational aspects of Nespresso coffee machines manufacturing assets
  • Ensure cost optimization, technical validation and optimizing time of replenishment and maintenance
  • Manage and develop the production capacity management activities for launched machines liaising with external and internal stakeholders
  • Identify critical components, find potential suppliers and drive 2nd source qualification to strengthen the Business Continuity Plan
  • Continuously improve and optimize the asset & capacity management system to ensure resources are optimized
     
What will make you successful

 

  • Master degree, engineering (mechanical or micromechanical) background preferred
  • Strong expertise in mould design, injection processes & automation
  • Over a sustained period (at least 3 years) has demonstrated success in new product/machine introduction, validation & industrialization
  • Project management expertise
  • Fluent written and spoken English
