Position Summary

As Senior Filling & Packaging Machine Specialist you will lead projects in our three Nespresso production centers (mainly in Orbe and Romont, sometimes in Avenches). This includes trials with new machines, modifications of existing machines and other activities having impact on packaging machines.

A day in the life of a Senior Filling & Packaging Machine Specialist

Manage packaging machines projects and trials in our production centers for new packaging solutions:

Continuous improvement in collaboration with productions centers or machine suppliers
Identification of performance improvement opportunities and execute their implementation
Leading packaging machine development projects to suit business requirements

Development of packaging machines:

Contribute to the selection and development, commissioning and putting into operation new packaging machines
Ensure compliance of packaging machines to safety and hygiene requirements

Support the engineering, production, quality or supply chain operational teams of the production centers:

Perform systematic root cause analysis for problem solving, elaborate measures to eliminate the root causes and execute or support the implementation of the solutions

What will make you successful

Engineering Diploma in the field of Packaging, Mechanics, Automation or Electricity
At least 3 years’ successful industrial experience
Experience in packaging machine operations or construction at packaging machine manufacturing companies
Delivering results with multidisciplinary teams from production center, head office and suppliers
Structured way of working
Confirmed project management experience
Strong communication & negotiation skills
Mobile & flexible
Proven stakeholder management & analytical skills
Good command of the MS Office tools
Proficiency in English and French, German would be an asset
