POSITION SUMMARY
Work Model: Remote
Location: São Paulo Headquarters
Area / BU: Regional Purina
Reporting Line: Regional TPM & Industrial Performance Manager
Day-to-day responsibilities...
• Individual contributor role with no direct reports, providing regional technical leadership across Purina LATAM factories.
• Develop and deploy Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI solutions to support Enhanced Problem Solving and operational decision-making.
• Analyze manufacturing, process, equipment, and sensor data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvement, loss reduction, quality enhancement, and process stability.
• Lead Data Science projects from opportunity identification through implementation and value realization, ensuring delivery of expected business benefits.
• Develop, scale, and replicate analytics solutions across Purina LATAM factories, generating operational savings and performance improvements.
• Partner with Manufacturing Excellence, Operations, Engineering, Automation, IT, and Quality teams to integrate solutions into manufacturing processes and systems.
• Support operational compliance, performance management, and continuous improvement through data-driven insights and digital solutions.
What will contribute to your success?
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, AI, or related analytical projects.
• Experience applying analytics to solve business or operational challenges, preferably in manufacturing environments.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and regional or matrix organizations.
• Strong knowledge of Statistics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Predictive Analytics, and Data Visualization.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data analytics tools.
• Experience with databases, data integration, and industrial/manufacturing data analysis.
• Knowledge of structured problem solving, continuous improvement, and project management methodologies.
• Ability to communicate analytical insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Intermediate to Advanced English.
• Intermediate Spanish (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Results orientation and business acumen.
• Collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Ability to influence without authority.
• Innovation mindset, curiosity, and adaptability.
• Strong communication and change management skills.
• Experience with TrendMiner, Braincube, Databricks, Azure, or similar analytics platforms.

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and operational savings initiatives.
• Experience scaling analytics and AI solutions across multiple sites or regions.
