JOB PURPOSE:

• Performs analyses accurately within the agreed time frame
• Ensure reliability of the analytical results.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for conducting laboratory testing according to test procedures, safety measures and established plan.
• Handle sophisticated analytical test and analytical instruments i.e.  pathogenic tests, Transia, autoclaves, etc with minimum supervision and basic understanding of its field of application.
• Inform superior of any deviation observed on analytical results and issues related to laboratory activities (safety, organization, etc.)
• Plan and prepares media, chemicals and materials necessary for laboratory testing.
• Ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated and maintained as per described schedule (ICP).
• Document test results, maintain all laboratory test reports and key in the results in LIMS.
• Carry out related duties assigned periodically by superior.
• Act as relief technician in areas other than his/her present areas whenever need arises.
• Adherence to the Quality Management System as per the NQAC Quality Manual.
• Comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety, health and environment that instituted by the Company or any relevant Act or any relevant regulation.
• Ensures 5S / Good housekeeping /GLP in the laboratory.

• JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum Diploma with related science background Food science, biotechnology, biology, microbiology, biochemistry with 1- 3 years working experience in laboratory. 
• Good understanding / communication in English.
