We are looking for Logistic Manager to manage supply and delivery flows to maximize product availability, manage warehousing operations and coordinate transportation providers in order to drive efficiencies that translate into better on-time delivery service and reduction of total delivered cost. 

A day in the life of...

  • Leads the development and ensures implementation of the  annual customer plans that are aligned with overall business and customer strategies, while achieving profitable sales objectives.
  • To plan, direct, control and monitor all activities related to smooth, efficient and economic overall operations of the 3rd party warehouses. This involves directing and coordinating the effective storage, internal and external handling of finished goods from point of arrival through the final point of assembly and dispatch of orders in correct quantity, quality, on time and to the right place in order to ensure maximum efficiency of operations at the sites concerned. This will assist  in the fulfillment of the department's objective and in turn, contribute to the achievement of the company's overall objectives or plans.
  • The incumbent is also overall in charge of the proper coordination of pallet pool to ensure an efficient and effective control in pallet distributions, movement and account holders in Peninsular and East Malaysia.
  • Responsible for monitoring and reviewing all accounts  for  Chep and MHU activities across all Nestle Malaysia sites
  • In addition to this the incumbent is overall in charge of the shunting activities from Factories to DC's to ensure smooth transfer of raw & packed goods are done in the most cost effective manner.
  • To ensure that 3rd warehouse operators comply with MH Best Practices and develop competent SAP super users with additional backups.
     

 

What will make you successful

  • At least 3 years relevant and successful operational experience at market/ business level in Warehouse Management or Transportation or Physical Logistics Projects
  • Relevant operational experience at market/ business level, in Customer Service CFSC,  Demand & Supply Planning and Finance: business planning, budget control, cost management
  • Experience in the management of projects e.g. Distribution Network Redesign, High Performance Logistics and Customer Logistic
  • Must have strong organization skills and excellent in planning, scheduling and decision making skill
  • Strong analytical skills and capacity to work under pressure
  • Strong understanding of Change Management, process improvement and business transformation
