We are looking for an eCommerce Front-End Developer to identify, coordinate and address untapped opportunities in the end-to-end customer journey by translating commercial & communications objectives into cost-effective and data-driven web & mobile solutions through the creative use of technology and user experience principles.

A day in the life of...

  • Support the definition of campaigns, execute and develop campaigns, permanent content and landing pages to increase qualified visits, acquisition, conversion, retention and ensure quality & timely execution of digital content to end consumers
  • Leverage understanding of web design principles, technical capabilities, consumer behaviour, and operational processes to develop and drive website strategies to increase conversion, improve customer experience & loadtime optimisation.
  • Coordinate and manage delivery of digital projects, leveraging & supporting external agencies to ensure timely delivery and quality of digital assets while aligning closely with technical & brand guidelines
  • Oversee the execution of digital content, ensuring templates remain up-to-date & aligned with global content strategy
  • Support the Front End Coding requirements for eCommerce team of Nespresso on the web and mobile sites, ensuring all global content is adapted to performance, brand & web accessibility guidelines
  • Lead development of fully responsive & WCA compliant campaign landing pages, ensuring that campaign assets are delivered in adherence with global digital, technical, commercial & brand content guidelines
  • Influence the campaign design process to ensure brand and commercial needs are met and executed in a timely manner
  • Support the planning of annual campaign roadmap, anticipate annual planning & assess relevant technologies available to support ecommerce ambitions
  • Implement commercial enablers (including personalisation, merchandising and analytics) across all campaign digital touch points
  • Execute personalisation and geo-targeted campaigns on the website in coordination with cross-functional partners.
  • Continually optimise the content & campaign operations roadmap and manage prioritisation and trade-offs among customer experience, time-to-market, and operational support load
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, legal, and business development on a rapid and iterative product development to seize new commercial opportunities external to the IS roadmap
  • Increase visibility on technical opportunities outside of IS constraints, support product designers with agile solutions and development processes

The ideal candidate will have a track record for developing a vision, defining a strategy and building programs and features from the ground up. In this role, the candidate must be able to influence across multiple company organizations, be an exceptionally strong communicator and analytical thinker and have a history of delivering results. This person will have experience delivering customer-facing, web-based products that reach millions of users, worldwide. They will have solved complicated problems with elegant, simple solutions with the following minimum technical competencies:

 

  • Best-in-class knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript
  • A minimum knowledge (between 1 and 3 years) with one of these frameworks: Angular2+, React, Vue
  • A minimum knowledge (between 1 and 3 years) with Webpack
  • Solid understanding of ES6
  • Solid CSS methodology: OOCSS, BEM or SMACSS
  • Creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense
  • Knowledge of Drupal framework is a strong plus
  • Up to date in all web, technology & digital innovation trends
  • Accuracy, reliability & vigilant attention to detail
  • 3 years’ experience in digital industry
  • Strong background mobile and responsive design
  • Understanding of User Experience/Usability
  • Experience in content management and template development
