We are looking for a Key Account / Channel Assistant Manager to join the PURINA team. In this position, you will develop and drive key account customer strategy to meet KPI. In addition, you will manage field sales operations for modern grocery channel and engage with key customers to grow PURINA sales and in-store branding.

 

A day in the life of...

Channel/ Customer Management

  • Develop Key Account & E-Commerce strategy to achieve channel KPIs
  • Translate category strategy and develop into channel plans
  • Drive Joint Business Planning and business review with key customers
  • Manage price increases with customers
  • Plan trade and customized consumer promotions/price-off/advertised offers
  • Influence customers on planogram initiatives
  • Handle and develop E-Distributor
  • Manage optimum stock level at customers' warehouses
  • Support new product launches with listing, in-store branding and activities

Strategic Planning

  • Support Integrated Commercial Planning process
  • Manage channel TTS
  • Develop promotional plans
  • Review and analyze sales growth/TTS and address gaps
  • Evaluate promotions to ensure cost effectiveness

Operations

  • Manage and motivate a team of Field Sales merchandisers
  • Ensure compliance in all quality related NQMS processes
  • Interface with NiM Key Accounts team for internal alignment
  • Roll-out best in class displays & planogram best practices
  • Execute POP best practices

 

What will make you successful

  • Bachelors' Degree in Business Management, Marketing or equivalent
  • 3 years of commercial experience demonstrated in account management/ brand/ trade marketing  
  • Experience in training: Customer Management Best Practice, Foundation of Strategic Category Marketing & Total Trade Spend Strategy
  • Distributor management experience within sales, marketing, trade marketing or commercial function will be an added advantage
