As an Internal Communications Specialist you will work closely with the Internal Communications Manager and the Corporate Brand Marketing Team in leading and developing integrated communication strategies and projects. In this role you will engage colleagues with Nestlé Purina’s purpose through the development of an Employee Engagement and Advocacy Strategy.

 

A day in a life of an Internal Communications Specialist:

  • Partner with Head of HR and local HRBPs in markets to create an engaging Internal Communication strategy enabling strong Purina culture and creating a central source of information that inspires and informs NPP AOA employees across the central team
  • Lead implementation of the NPP AOA internal communications program for the Central Team including annual conference, events publications and corporate promotional initiatives. Partner with FLT /MANCOM to inform, engage and motivate employees in pursuit of a shared strategic vision and goals. Oversee external comms and sustainability activities.
  • Develop and advise best practise utilisation of Our Nest in collaboration with Corporate Brand Manager, to drive internal communications in the pursuit of the shared strategic vision. Lead ongoing development of the corporate intranet home pages; identify and write content
  • Create an Internal Communications and Employee Engagement Road Map in alignment with the Purina Corporate Communication Strategy (global and regional) while utilizing, enhancing and creating the different platforms of communication (workplace, email comms, LinkedIn)
  • Create compelling and informative content for internal communications, including newsletters, memos, presentations, and videos. Ensure content is engaging, relevant, and tailored to different employee groups. Manage content distribution and maintain an organized repository of internal communications materials. (CEO Q&A, Townhalls, Business updates, Leadership talks, etc._
  • Support organizational change initiatives by developing and executing communication plans that effectively convey the rationale, benefits, and impact of changes to employees. Provide guidance and support to leaders in delivering change-related messages.
  • Foster a culture of engagement and collaboration by designing and implementing initiatives that promote employee involvement, recognition, and feedback. (ex. Purina & I, Culture Club)
  • Lead the development of the Employer Value Proposition for NPP AOA 

 

What makes you successful?

  • University degree or equivalent
  • At least 4 years of experience in internal communications, preferably within an HR setting
  • Project management skills and experience in working with senior leaders on communications
  • Experience in Digital communication, digital content creation and community management on social media
