We are looking for a Legal Advisor to provide legal and compliance advice and to partner the business to provide solutions to issues while managing legal and compliance risks. The Legal Advisor also plays an important role in ensuring compliance and providing support to all quality related activities identified in the NQMS Process Descriptions and Support Process Descriptions.

A day in the life of...

• Day-to-day business partner for assigned business/function, and the subject matter expert of compliance subjects as assigned by the Legal Director.
• Drafting and preparation of contracts, documents, letters, communications and training materials
• Review IP, artwork for promotions and contests and consumer complaint matters for the assigned business/function.  
• Keep updated on legal developments and constantly reviews documents, templates and policies to ensure compliance.
• Review and advise on Intellectual Property issues for the supported business and matters, and manages access to IP databases.
• Manage and drive projects independently to achieve desired results.
• Conduct training to enhance awareness of Legal & compliance matters.

What will make you successful

• A good degree from a recognized university and being called to the bar in a commonwealth jurisdiction similar to Singapore’s legal system would be an advantage. 
• Diploma holders from recognised institutions with excellent credentials and relevant working experience may be considered. 
• Preferably at least 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience in a good law firm/established company.
• Relevant FMCG experience would be an advantage.
