We are looking for a Factory Supply Chain Manager (FSCM) to manage, guide and develop all Supply Chain functions at plant in order to meet production and business needs at required performance levels and at optimized costs.
A day in the life of...
1. Manage, guide and develop the factory supply chain teams to ensure:
- Detailed Production Scheduling is consistently delivering achievable plans for both manufacturing and filling/packaging operations within given Master Production Schedule, whilst minimizing production costs.
- Material Management Planning (Inbound Material Management) makes raw & packaging material available on time and quality at best overall costs for seamless manufacturing; co-ordinates with suppliers of raw and packaging materials for maintaining service levels while constantly seeking improvement possibilities.
- Material Handling runs warehousing operations for raw & packaging material and for finished goods within company guidelines (Good Warehousing Practices); records accurately the inventory and checks inventory rotation; controls and co-ordinates all documents relevant to receipt and despatch of goods.
2. Ensure smooth operations by effective communication and close collaboration with all internal partners at factory, Supply Chain, Procurement and external partners as Suppliers, Customs and Transport providers.
3. Monitors and manages Safety, Health and Environment, Quality and CARE regulations
4. Collaborate with peer factory Supply Chain managers to share best practices, liaise with Lean Champion, Supply Chain, Procurement, Factory Management and Application Group to drive continuous improvement.
5. Development of careers, succession plans, development and coaching of factory supply chain personnel in close co-operation with Supply Chain Management.
6. Communicate effectively downstream needs to instil customer service orientation within plant's organisation.
What Will Make You Successful,
Relevant and successful operational experience in a supervisory role at market/plant level in at least one of the following areas:
- Manufacturing; Industrial Performance; Demand & Supply Planning; Warehousing; Inbound Material Management; Production Planning.
Relevant operational experience at market/plant level in the following areas is beneficial:
- LEAN or 6 Sigma or 5S processes; Finance: business planning, budget control, cost management; Transports; Procurement Operations.
Advantageous to have experience in the management of projects such as High Performance Logistics.
