• Permanent, full-time role
• 3–5 years operational experience in manufacturing logistics or warehouse management.
• Previous experience as people manager in an operational environment is needed
• Fluency in Italian and English is required.
Position Summary
The Finished Goods Warehouse Manager will act as the operational and functional owner of the start-up of the new automated warehouse, from the design and commissioning phases through to full operational go live.
Once the warehouse is running, the role ensures the effective and safe management of all warehouse operations, the performance of the automation systems, and the development and coordination of the warehouse team.
A day in the life of an Automated Warehouse Manager:
Automated Warehouse Start Up (Start Up Ownership)
• Lead and coordinate all activities related to the start-up of the new automated warehouse.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Automation, IT and external vendors during layout definition and process design.
• Identify early-stage issues and coordinate corrective actions and continuous improvements with technical teams.
Operational Management
• Ensure correct and efficient handling, storage, picking and shipping of finished goods.
• Coordinate material flows in and out of the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
People Management
• Lead, coach and develop the warehouse team.
• Organize shift coverage, task allocation and skills development plans.
• Provide training for the team before and after the start-up phase.
Safety & Quality
• Ensure compliance with Nestlé SHE standards and Quality procedures.
• Promote safety culture and proactive reporting of unsafe conditions or near misses.
Continuous Improvement
• Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and service level.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality, Engineering and MRP teams to optimize end-to-end flows.
• Drive initiatives related to digitalization, automation and process simplification.

• Experience in the start‑up or management of automated warehouses.
• Project management experience in industrial start-up environments (strong plus).
• Leadership of operational teams working on shifts.
