- Fluency in Italian and English is required.
Position Summary
• React quickly to changes in both supply and demand to realign or reprioritize the production plan to minimize supply risks in an optimized way.
• Integrate processes with Information System applications (SAP) to reduce manual activities and improve automatism.
• Implement processes improvements to deliver tangible benefits (e.g.: time saving, increased efficiencies, etc.).
A day in the life of the Detail Production Planner:
• Support cross-functional team by providing information (e.g. labor requirements, material availability) to establish a feasible production plan within the short-term horizon.
• Explain the Production process, the key KPIs (Service Level, Stock Cover, etc) and main constraints specific to the Nestlé factories in scope.
• Contribute to the Detailed Production Planning process on the short-term horizon with a fair understanding of the concepts and methodologies and with a basic usage of the standard Nestlé tools (e.g. SAP/APO).
• Identify conflicting objectives and challenges that have an impact on the production plan within the short-term horizon with the objective of reducing total delivered costs.
• Identify and effectively address all production issues or constraints within the short-term horizon (e.g. plant shutdown) and review production cycles, lot sizes, plant capacity & utilization, etc. in a dynamic context.
• Liaise with the MRP planner to ensure that material availability will not impact production plans and work with them towards the best resolution to protect customer service in case of shortage.
• Cooperate with Production & Technical to ensure information flow and right prioritization.
