• Previous experience on confectionery equipments is a plus

Position Summary

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the continuity of factory operation at the minimum level of unplanned stoppages by managing internal and external resources.

A Day in the Life of a Factory Maintenance Team Leader

• Create and implement the appropriate maintenance strategy for the factory assets: production lines, facility, industrial services
• Supervise a team of 53 maintenance workers (mechanical and electrical engineers, industrial service engineers, technical storekeepers)
• Ensure the compliance to safety procedures
• Provide support to production operators
• React to emergencies like major breakdowns or utilities disruption
• Coordinate external workers on major interventions
• Develop maintenance budget, monitor and control maintenance expenditures
• Control technical store working capital and service level 
• Enforce the implementation of TPM methodology
• Coach the technical team on breakdown analysis and enforce the culture of failure root cause elimination
• Provide support to installation of new assets

What will make you successful

• Degree in industrial engineering (mechanical, electrical, chemical)
• Minimum 3 years as Maintenance Team Leader in food, pharma or consumer goods industry, total of working experience 6-7 years.
• Personnel Supervision of internal technical teams and subcontractors
• Participation in multi-disciplinary teams 
• Exposure to TPM methodology
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Work under pressure and ability to manage multiple and varied tasks simultaneously so to comply with internal and regulatory deadlines
• Proficient knowledge of Italian and English language
