Position Summary
Within the International Supply Chain team of Nestlé Italia - in San Sisto Plant (PG) - the European Hub of the Confectionery division, you will be responsible for managing order shipments and for being in strict contact with our distributors worldwide.
A day in the life of…
- Managing order shipments and loading appointments on international clients: that means order management, load optimization, product stock verification, product shipment organization, export documents;
- Having a daily contact with supply planner/customers/foreign subsidiary/Area Managers and transporters;
- Having a front-end contact with key distributors: we expect you to find proactive solutions to logistic issues and to be a trustful and insightful partner for Area Sales Managers in order to reach a common goal;
- Managing appointments for loading at our factories and warehouses;
- Managing claims or returns;
- Handling load problems directly with transporters and customers’ forwarders;
- Conducting reports and analysis related to the KPI of the function.
What will make you successful?
- Graduates or Undergraduates in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent;
- Theoretical knowledge (university level) about Supply Chain processes, objectives and methodologies (short work experience in Supply Chain/Operations is a plus);
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel;
- Able to work with deadlines;
- Be a curious teamplayer;
- Fluent in both Italian and English with an effective communication and interpersonal skills;
- Knowledge of another language is very appreciated.
