- At least 2 years of work experience in a microbiology laboratory;
- A previous experience in the food industry and an accredited laboratory (ISO 17025) will be a plus;
- Fluent in Italian and English.
A Day in the life of a Microbiological Laboratory Analyst
- Microbiological analysis of food products, water, and environmental samples (from sample preparation to reading and interpretation of results);
- Preparation of culture media, sterilization and disposal, management of laboratory materials;
- Detection of pathogenic microorganisms through dedicated monitoring plans;
- Sampling of raw materials and process intermediates;
- Monitoring of hygiene indicators to ensure the required standards of the plant;
- Verification of microbiological methods, quality check of culture media;
- Management of the Internal Control Plan (ICP), monitoring of laboratory instruments, documentation management;
- Application of Good Laboratory Practices;
- Participation in activities necessary for laboratory accreditation according to ISO 17025 and preparation/attendance of audits.

- Good knowledge of general and food microbiology;
- Strong orientation towards achieving results through critical analysis of data;
- Good knowledge of the Office package (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook);
