Position Summary: 
In this role you will have the responsibility of the Quality of the products produced in the plant, managing a big team and being the main point of contact for quality, compliance and certification topics, in alignment with the Corporate Quality team and working with internal and external stakeholders.

 

A Day in the Life of the Quality Manager:

  • Develop and maintain competences and quality awareness, and commitment to zero defect in the factory
  • Setup, manage, enforce and maintain the FSSC 22000 and ISO9001 as well as establishing the Food Safety Management System Manual and relevant documents for factory
  • Coach and develop people in quality team as well as people in the factory for strengthen Leadership in Quality 
  • Ensure the correct functioning of the factory laboratory, including personnel safety, availability of equipment and training of technicians
  • Ensure adherence to good hygienic practices in the factory. Ensure the correct implementation and supervision of the factory pest management programme
  • Manage the internal auditing programme, assessing the performance of the quality system, reporting its effectiveness to the management and proposing actions for improvement.
  • Ensure the monitoring of key quality parameters to drive structured root cause analysis and continuous improvement in the quest for zero defect
  • Lead the factory management review of quality (MRQ)
  • Maintain full compliance of raw & packaging materials and finished products produced
  • Ensure compliance of all relevant technical instructions with continuous verification and tracking of the factory compliance level, immediately reporting all deviations to market/category 
  • Provide support to Category/Market/Businesses to resolve/manage quality/food safety issues
  • Ensure compliance to standards for relabelling and stickered products
  • Conduct Warehouse and Distributor audits.

 

What will make you successful:

  • University graduate or equivalent (preferred microbiology, chemistry or food science).
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in Quality in multinational companies, with demonstrated capability to lead a group in complex environments with management exposure to several functions
  • Experience as Manager of a big team is mandatory
