  • Permanent contract, full-time
  • 4-5 years of experience in Warehouse Automation with Electrical engineering roles. In particular, it is mandatory to have proficiency in interfacing with PLC/MES and configuring connections with digital platforms.

Position Summary 
In this role you will support the development on Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Warehouses automation Process automation in Supply Chain and Customer Service (RPA), Electricity and Automation (E&A) professional and technical in Warehouse/Factory for operational activities and during participation in CAPEX projects, of the Digital Roadmaps in the Operations; doing so in line with corporate guidelines, enforcing that all MES-E&A activities enhance business objectives, product quality and plant operation/performance while ensuring that people health and safety, product safety, and environment are never compromised. 

  

 

Your typical day:

 
    Project Management for E&A solutions:  Participate in Capital Investments projects in the market, ensuring that the technical solution follows corporate and market standards and is delivered with the expected quality, being on time and in budget. Must fully understand the technical details of the E&A solutions in all projects. Responsibilities include: to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to reduce and control delivery lead times; to input manufacturing knowledge and promote best practice; to analyze and implement improvement actions regarding workflows. 
    Full Compliance: Ensure Process & Equipment safety for people, products and environment and that one exhibits an attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations. Ensure that the Change Management is in place to appropriately manage modifications in the Digital-E&A solutions. Ensure the application of the market and local Digital-E&A related legislation (i.e. electrical, calibration, etc). 
    Product and Process Mastership: E&A engineers play a key role in the continuous improvement of operations through mastering the process and product characteristics. E&A engineer must have a deep insight of the processes, and continuously strive for the improvement of efficiency quality, safety while protecting the technological know-how and competitive advantage. 
    Operational Support: Participates in the implementation of engineering tools at market level. Ensures that all E&A installations comply with market and corporate safety, health, environment, product safety and product quality standards. Ensures that the key documentation is up to date and in place (i.e. SLD, URS, FDS, Calibration procedures, etc.). Participates in the M&I activities in the factory. 

    Digital Solutions Implementation: implement and test new digital solutions for process automation, standardization and integration with digital platform architecture. E&A Engineer have to stay up to date on the latest digital technologies 

 

What will make you successful

  • Participation in the development of engineering projects as part of a multidisciplinary team (preferably including different products and technologies in Electrical and Automation areas) 
  • Effective communicatation with different organizational levels. 
  • Must be fluent in English and Italian
