Position Summary
To manage the warehouse operations in terms of work scheduling, resource planning and good warehouse practices. Effectively deploy Warehouse Tools and Automation Functionalities to ensure seamless operations. Lead cost and continuous improvement initiatives (LER, VSD, IBO etc.) by actively engaging with warehousing staff, team leaders and unions.
A day in the life...
- Ensuring that warehouse shift operations run as planned material reception and delivery is executed as per the plan and allocate priorities, basis the plan.
- resource allocation for day today planning of the warehouse activities. Right sizing shift operations to reduce eliminate overtime and resource deficit.
- Work with shift in charges to follow up on the productivity performance and drive remedial actions. Also design the training and development module for new hires and shop floor staff.
- Implement the Safety Framework in the DC and be responsible for taking pro-active measures to eliminate instances by auctioning the BBS observations. Also, be responsible for auctioning the pro-active checks coming from Gemba Walks, Safety Checklist, Racking Inspections Etc.
- Lead the implementation of the various TDC and Cost/Process Improvements coming out of the LER, VSED, IBO, HPL etc.
- Work in close co-ordination with the transport planning, quality and site HR team to drive performance improvement and compliance.
- Run IT health checks, inventory counting, Return and Refusal management to ensure that stock integrity is maintained in the warehouse.
- Lead the continuous improvement meetings (SHO, DOR, WOR etc.) and ensure that the open points are addressed or escalated on time.
- Execute actions and GAPs coming out of NQMS, QiVC reviews. Also, execute the Good Warehouse Practices collaboration with customers.

What will make you successful
- Management/Industrial engineering background or similar
- 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain
- Italian and English proficiency
- Good knowledge of SAP ECC
- Excellent analytics skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Good leadership skills
- Excellent Office 365 command (Excel, Power BI, Power Point, Power Query)
